SUMMARY:Tht!::Dark Satellites / Vedettes / Reign Of The Sloth
DESCRIPTION:Killer Three Headed Thursday with Vedettes\, Dark Satellites\, and REIGN Of The SLOTH!\nThree Headed Thursday’s /// 3 Bands / $3 Cover / $3 Lagunitas Pints \nVedettes:\nVedettes is the second band formed by Lofflin\, Weiler and White\, whose first project together was Honeybaby (2005-2007). Vedettes formed in spring 2015 with the addition of Metz\, who was a long-time friend of Lofflin. More than anything\, friendship and a love of playing – both in the basement and live – are what drove them to come together again\, along with an affinity for aggressive\, melodic\, guitar-driven rock. To a certain extent\, they wanted to get back-to-basics at a time when rock music seemed to have lost its popularity. While different artists inspire the members\, they all agree solid\, loud\, dissonant-yet-tuneful\, blues-influenced music is what they like to play together. While the music continues to evolve\, the core of their sound is a glossed-up rawness that generates its power from angst just as much as liberation – which pretty much sums up the genre\, in general. \nPast/Current (in CAPS) projects: Heather Lofflin (Suckle\, Black Calvin\, Honeybaby\, Whisky Boots)\, Lizz Weiler (Emma Feel\, Honeybaby\, The Old Black\, The Last Call Girls\, THE CAVE GIRLS)\, Ben White (Truth Cell\, Honeybaby\, The Old Black\, 1950da\, GODZILLIONAIRE)\, J. Metz (Yucca Roots)\nhttps://www.vedettesks.com/?fbclid=IwAR0vmLHD7WrV37rs9Rx6kEa6mRGQEwLnrxBBdGnJ2awtmgFe98NzrQN5BW8\nhttps://www.facebook.com/vedettesks/ \nDark Satellites:\npunk rock stoner pop with some psych haze\nhttps://darksatellites.bandcamp.com/?fbclid=IwAR1hXKPc4JjFFocQrdOlajzfxV2qdEqY-FG3pdxxSiJFoQura5ineRJvOCU\nhttps://www.facebook.com/darksatellites/ \nReign Of The Sloth:\nDoom Thrash Sludge Core from the LFK\nhttps://www.facebook.com/reignofthesloth/
