Sasha played guitar and Chris played drums. They fell in love with playing together and later just plain old fell in love. \nIn January of 2011 They played their first official show as When Particles Collide and since then have been on a non-stop rock ‘n roll adventure. \nSince the summer of 2012 When Particles Collide has been touring the country for 9-14 weeks per year and playing consistently across New England the other 43-38 weeks. DESCRIPTION:Killer Three Headed Thursday with Vedettes\, Dark Satellites\, and REIGN Of The SLOTH!\nThree Headed Thursday’s /// 3 Bands / $3 Cover / $3 Lagunitas Pints \nVedettes:\nVedettes is the second band formed by Lofflin\, Weiler and White\, whose first project together was Honeybaby (2005-2007). Vedettes formed in spring 2015 with the addition of Metz\, who was a long-time friend of Lofflin. More than anything\, friendship and a love of playing – both in the basement and live – are what drove them to come together again\, along with an affinity for aggressive\, melodic\, guitar-driven rock. To a certain extent\, they wanted to get back-to-basics at a time when rock music seemed to have lost its popularity. While different artists inspire the members\, they all agree solid\, loud\, dissonant-yet-tuneful\, blues-influenced music is what they like to play together. Rachel from Signal Ridge has done some great work with The Monkey Bridge Project\, Inc.\, check them out!\nThere will also be a special performance from The Bluegrass Monkeys\, so come on down and support this event! \nSignal Ridge:\nMusic straight out of the heartland in Lawrence\, Kansas. Steeped in history and inspiration from the natural world\, Signal Ridge writes and performs original songs about prairie fires\, coal mining and dancing coyotes. Jesse Carr brings an old-time feel with his mandolin\, fiddle and banjo quips. Brandon Allai flat picks the guitar. His voice\, smooth and cathartic. His lyrics\, straight from soul. Rachel Allai\, rounds out the corners with gentle harmonies and singing on the fiddle. Peter Oviatt plays intricate\, yet sweet melodic runs on the banjo. They all have a love for music and an awe for the natural environment.
